The San Benito High School College and Career Go Center is dedicated to providing information and guidance to students related to college admissions, financial aid, scholarships, and opportunities for earn college credit while in high school. As such, we coordinate and provide the following for the students of San Benito High School:

- Provide testing dates and registration information on college entrance and placement test such as SAT I & II, ACT, THEA, Quick THEA, COMPASSS, and Acculplacer

- Assist students and parents with obtaining a Personal Identification Number (PIN) for financial aid

- Provide opportunities for students and parents to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

- Coordinate dual enrollment program in collaboration with University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas State Technical College

- Provide guidance in searching online scholarship databases

- Coordinate college, university, and military recruiter visits to our campus

- Coordinate on-site testing opportunities for students including Quick THEA, COMPASS, ASVAB, PSAT, SAT and ACT tests

- Register students for and conduct Advanced Placement testing.

- Coordinate college and university field trips

- Provide Internet access to students in order to research careers colleges, financial aid, and scholarship opportunities and completing necessary applications
